SNV (Netherlands Development Organization )

SNV is a key partner in our journey towards sustainability. Their expertise and support have been instrumental in implementing various green initiatives at St. Lucia High School. Together, we work on:

  1. Sustainable Agriculture: Enhancing our agricultural practices, including poultry, cattle, and goat rearing, and crop management, to ensure a sustainable food supply for our students.
  2. Renewable Energy: Promoting the use of solar energy through projects like the Solar Cooking Initiative and Solar Water Pump Project, reducing our carbon footprint and fostering environmental responsibility.
  3. Capacity Building: Providing training and resources to our staff and students to promote sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

The Ministry of Education is a vital partner in our mission to provide quality education to all students, regardless of their background. Through this partnership, we focus on: 1.
